I am Tekau ma Tahi  so I am 11 years old
Ko Waipoa Toko awa
Ko horuta te waka
No Mahia, wairoa,,nuhaka and Gisborne 
Ko Waikanae te Moana 
Ko Thompson Toko whanau 
I have been up Mount hikurangi for a hike with the year 5 and 6s for camp. It was so cooled and frosty up there all you could see was clouds.

    This is Charlotte from the Summer Learning Journey, and I am happy to see that you are participating in the teaser week activities. I really enjoyed reading your pepeha and liked how you included many different pieces of information.

    I saw that your mountain is the Hikurangi mountain, this is such a beautiful mountain and I was wondering whether you have ever hiked it before? I love hiking and walking and am always looking for new places to hike.

    I was wondering if you could think of any ways to expand on your pepeha? Maybe you could include your awa (river) and iwi (tribe)?
