Dear Staff and Students of Central School
I am writing this letter to thank you for inviting our whole school to come watch your school play. I am a year 5 student at Makaraka school and I am on my second to last year. I was so excited about coming to your school play as I couldn't stay in my seat I was so Interested! This is us - Anei Matou was a great topic to base your play on as it had a great story behind it. Our school was excited by the performance and learning more about your school. I learnt some tips to take back to school.
I really enjoyed the style of the play and how you showed us how your school has developed throughout the years and the effort you put into the costumes .The costumes were really creative especially Captain Cook and Kiwa.
Well you would get really hot under the puppets.
I love the songs and how you put the songs in the right order. Also you had lots of different topics throughout the play which I really did love. The highlight of the production to me was the beautiful bright lights OMG they just blended in like a bright star floating around the stage it just makes it look beautiful. Wow The production was a great length of time it wasn't too short and It wasn't too long it was just right.
To me the production was a blast of fun from music to even getting invited to a live production. I hope that us Makaraka School will do one next year and would invite you Central School to come watch our production. The production helped me to understand the story more and more easy. Makaraka is proud of your effort of what you put into the interesting production. I hope you perform more plays over the next years.
Thanks Kate, lovely letter! Please can you add an explanation in that tells your audience what this is? Ie why did you write this.
